Una de las primeras cosas que uno nota al llegar a Buenos Aires es que a TODO EL MUNDO le apasiona el fútbol. Chicos, chicas, jóvenes, mayores. Yo aterricé en plena Copa América y escuché conversaciones de gente indignada con su selección en todos sitios durante la primera semana. Afortunadamente la pasión argentina pasa pronto y el país superó su eliminatoria y siguió con sus cosas a los pocos días...

One of the first things that people notice when they arrive in Buenos Aires is that EVERYONE loves football. Boys, girls, young and old people. I landed during the Copa America and heard conversations of people disappointed with their team everywhere for the first week. Luckily, argentinian's passion gets blown away and the country overcame its disqualification and moved on to its things after a few days...

Recuerdo uno de los primeros días, con Argentina ya eliminada que me asusté de ver a la gente por la calle, como en España antiguamente, pegada a los escaparates de las tiendas y bares viendo uno de los partidos...

I remember one of the first days, with Argentina already out of the competition that I got really confused when I saw everyone watching the match in the tv from the outside of shops and cafes...

En esta foto, no se si se aprecia, la ambulancia paró con un enfermo dentro a esperar a que acabara el partido (!!!)

In this picture, I don't know if you can notice, but the ambulance stopped to see the end of the match with a sick person inside (!!!)

Y bueno, ¿qué decir del archifamoso Tano Pasman?...al que no lo conozca, aquí le dejo siete minutos de pura pasión argentina. Aviso: ¡merece la pena verlo!

And well, what to say about the super-famous Tano Pasman?...if you don't know him, here I leave seven minutes of pure argentinian passion. Advice: it's worth it!
